Use cases

WhatsApp campaigns, sent at a safe pace

Import your contacts, pick a template and send to people who asked to hear from you, at a rate you control.

Contacts from a CSV file

Import contacts from a CSV file and group them with tags. A campaign goes to the tags you choose.

Personal, not identical

Campaigns send a template, and variables such as the contact name are filled in per recipient, so people do not all get an identical message.

Paced through a queue

Messages leave at a rate you set per campaign instead of all at once. The default is 60 a minute. For a number with little history, go slower.

Tracked per recipient

Each recipient moves from queued to sent, delivered and read, or failed, so you can see what a campaign actually reached.

How it works

  1. Import and tag

Upload a CSV file of contacts who agreed to hear from you and tag them.

  2. Pick a template

Choose a saved template and check the variables.

  3. Set the pace and send

Choose the messages-per-minute rate and start the campaign.

Questions about Campaigns

Can I send WhatsApp campaigns to a list I bought?

No. Message only people who gave you their number and expect to hear from you. Sending to purchased or scraped lists gets numbers reported and banned by WhatsApp, and Oxtro cannot reverse a ban.

Can a campaign get my WhatsApp number banned?

It can. Oxtro sends from your own number through a linked-device session and is not the official WhatsApp Business Platform. WhatsApp can restrict numbers that send unwanted or bulk messages. Pacing, opt-in and a warmed-up number lower the risk but do not remove it.

How many people can a campaign reach?

The number of campaign recipients depends on your plan.
